Question:

If you were just laid off and starting to live more much more frugally, wouldn't the last thing you do is pay money to go to the gym?

Just when I thought Dog Ate My Finances was off the hook, more gold!

While it wouldn't be the first thing that I did, I can SOMEWHAT understand needing SOMETHING to do while you're unemployed so that you don't go crazy. That said, a pair of running shoes may be a little bit more frugal...
